Certified Payments will be retiring the use of Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 July 31, 2018, following the requirements of the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) due to several weaknesses found in TLS 1.0, many websites, software applications and Internet services.
To ensure proper access to all of our websites, custom API integrations, and EMV terminals with no interruptions, users must update web browsers and custom integrations to support TLS 1.2 by July 31, 2018. Please note this will affect all connections into Certified Payments including consumers and will result in the inability to process transactions successfully.
